Da Ron Vinson is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans performance, experimental video, writing, installation, and directing. Vinson rejects the order of linear narrative, instead weaving together fragmented images, sensory ruptures, and incomplete shards of emotion to create immersive encounters. Their work interrogates the complexities of Blackness, gender, and embodiment through visceral destabilizing confrontation.
Rooted in self experimentation and shifting power exchanges, Vinson’s practice elevates the collisions between matter and memory, the individual wound and the collective one. Within this poetic tension, their work gazes toward the threshold where bodies become archives, where personal histories meet societal fractures, and where the act of witnessing transforms both viewer and artist alike.
