Da Ron Vinson (Los Angeles, CA) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work weaves together performance, installation, and playwriting to examine and interrogate the complexities of Blackness, gender, and embodiment. Through immersive experiences rooted in self-experimentation and shifting power dynamics, Vinson explores the layered realities of Black Being. Bridging critical theory with personal narrative, Vinson’s practice creates spaces of communal care, where questions become ritual, and transformation reveals itself in the present moment.
Vinson is currently pursuing an MFA in Theater Directing at CalArts. Vinson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design.
